Apply to become a Healthcare Assistant today.

Posted on 27/11/2020

Are you applying to a job in the NHS for the very first time?

Have you have been inspired by watching those in healthcare protect those closest to you?

Do you have a dream of becoming a registered nurse or doctor and need to start somewhere….anywhere?

Does this sound like you?  Then consider working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

Through our range of specialist services, we treat patients who require support for a day, for a week, or sadly for the rest of their life. As a result of this our Healthcare Assistant workforce is crucial in ensuring the contact and treatment they receive is to the highest standard.

For you to provide this high standard of care, we will invest in you. In other words, we will support your development.

As a HCA you will be asked to undertake a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. This will form your grounding for a career in healthcare. Our central Education team will guide you through this from day one.

You will be joining a team of dedicated professionals. Working in an organisation of 6,000 across the county of Buckinghamshire. Working for an employer that really has your community at the heart of everything it does.

If you’re interested, click on “Apply Now”. We recruit into vacancies via a central assessment day. As a result, this includes sitting a numeracy and literacy test, plus an interview.
