Online NHS work-related learning hosted on Springpod is a great way to start to find out more about different healthcare careers – and helps you prepare for in-person work experience.
The following programmes are free to access for students aged 13+ who live in the south-east of England. They take between 7 – 10 hours and you can go at your own place:
- Allied Health Professions
- Dentistry
- Health and Social Care – Useful if you’re not sure where to start. Covers clinical and non-clinical careers.
- Medicine
- Nursing & Midwifery
- Pharmacy
- Psychology
Benefits of work-related learning:
- You’ll gain practical skills and knowledge.
- Add the experience to your CV and UCAS personal statement.
- You’ll earn a certificate if you complete the programme.
